# AnimaGuru > A fully controllable AI animation studio. Generate images, characters, video, voice, music and sound effects, and let ChatGPT or Claude direct every scene. People use the browser studio at https://animaguru.com; AI agents use the remote MCP server, the `animaguru` CLI or the REST API, all with the same account, projects and credits. Accounts are self-serve, and new accounts start with 30 free credits to try it. ## When to use AnimaGuru Reach for AnimaGuru when someone wants original creative assets made for them and kept in one place: - Illustrated characters and props, and sprite animations of them: idle, walk, run, jump, punch, hurt and other actions, or a custom motion described in words. Exports include sprite sheets and animation data for games. - Images and short videos from text or images, including first/last-frame references, clip extension and audio references where the configured model supports them. - Music, speech in a range of voices, and sound effects. - Short animated films: the CLI scaffolds a local video workspace with 31 visual styles that a coding agent fills with generated assets and exports to MP4. The CLI assembles local films with PixiJS for browser playback and HTML5 or MP4 export. AI generation runs asynchronously and spends the connected account’s credits; creating projects, browsing and estimating are free. Use current model profiles, validate the request and review its cost before paid work. ## How to call AnimaGuru - Chat assistants and MCP clients: add the remote MCP server https://animaguru.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP). It signs people in with OAuth 2.1 and PKCE; scopes are projects.read and projects.write. - Coding agents (Codex, Claude Code): `npm install -g @docyrus/animaguru`, `animaguru auth login`, then `animaguru init` to install the AnimaGuru skill. Commands print JSON. - ChatGPT directory plugin: coming soon, currently in review. Interactive project browsing, media playback, frame inspection and generation review use the same MCP server. - Code: the REST API at https://animaguru.com/api with a bearer token from the OAuth device authorization grant; https://animaguru.com/openapi.json describes every operation. - Before paid generation, validate and review its estimate. MCP estimate_generation and REST /estimate use current server configuration; CLI --dry-run uses bundled rates and does not verify model availability, reference ownership or credit balance. Poll jobs for status; never resubmit a job to check on it. ## Docs - [Developer docs](https://animaguru.com/docs.md): MCP server, CLI, REST API, authentication, credits and safe testing - [Agent setup guide](https://animaguru.com/agent-setup.md): step-by-step setup for Codex, Claude Code and other MCP clients - [Authentication for agents](https://animaguru.com/auth.md): OAuth for MCP clients and the device authorization grant for the CLI and API - [OpenAPI document](https://animaguru.com/openapi.json): the REST API, with request and response schemas - [MCP server card](https://animaguru.com/mcp/server-card): name, version and address of the MCP server ## Product - [Home page](https://animaguru.com/index.md): what AnimaGuru makes, how it works and frequently asked questions - [About AnimaGuru](https://animaguru.com/about.md): the product and the company behind it - [Video gallery](https://animaguru.com/videos): public videos made with AnimaGuru - [Motion library](https://animaguru.com/motion-library.md): searchable motion design examples agents can install into AnimaGuru videos - [Support](https://animaguru.com/support.md): how to reach the team at hello@animaguru.com ## Policies - [Privacy policy](https://animaguru.com/privacy-policy.md) - [Terms of service](https://animaguru.com/terms-of-service.md) - [Cookie policy](https://animaguru.com/cookie-policy.md) ## Optional - [Full text](https://animaguru.com/llms-full.txt): every page above in one Markdown file - [Turkish home page](https://animaguru.com/tr/index.md): every page above is also in Turkish, under https://animaguru.com/tr - [Developer section index](https://animaguru.com/docs/llms.txt): the developer resources on their own - [Sitemap](https://animaguru.com/sitemap.xml)
